Just stumbled across this place. Overlooks a lake and egret's nest. Binoculars given to let you see up close the views. Great service staff. Very professional and friendly. Food is great too. I had the fried oysters which were great. My wife highly recommends the lobster club sandwich. Good beer selection. Highly recommended!

food was excellent, especially the "chowda" and haddock. Lobster bisque was only fair. Prices consistent with typical frsh seafood fare. Waitress was pleasant and prompt. Easy to find and lots of parking.

Stopped by and had a bowl of chowder and a lobster roll, Nether was that good just average. What wasn't average was the $40 bill for a soup and a sandwich and a beer. On vacation for a week. this was the worst place we ate at. You needs lots of money for A taste of Maine.

if you like lobster - but hate the "cracking" bit, try their "lazy lobster" - pure enjoyment without the fuss. The setting of the palce is great, the osprey observation camera is always an experience and we always visit this place on our annual new england/LL Bean shopping trip.

Visited this restaurant during the off season when the "hot spot" was closed and other spots did not have whole lobster. Everything was great. Our server even kept an eye on us and offered "corrections" as I struggled at times with my red beast.
