This was our third lobster shack of the day...Sprauges definitely loads up on the lobster. The meat was fresh and sweet. Enjoyed siting on the dock and watching the clamers knee deep in the muck during low tide. Even got a tour by owner Frank while we were there.

If you don't have time to wait for the stellar gob-smacking lobster rolls at Red's, walk across the street and get one here. We decided to bypass the LONG lines at Red's and went across the street. We ordered, ate and loitered around while the people were still waiting on line had yet to order! Just pull up to the dock and enjoy a classic Maine experience. A couple of options for the lobster roll. Eat at picnic tables. Can be buggy (like much of Maine waterfront) so bring spray. I wish some of the small craft kiosks had been open during our evening visit. Across from Reds but shorter lines.
