We were exhausted from hiking in Acadia and came for refreshment and rejuvenation. We were so pleased to have the best table in the house! Totally unobstructed view of the beautiful pond, fresh and deletable popovers and jam, thirst-quenching blueberry iced tea, great service. A not-to-be-missed classic experience!

This is the only place to eat in Acadia National Park, so plan accordingly and do not miss it. Seating is inside or outside and service is top notch. "Popovers" are a pastry served with every meal, or a'la cart for a sinful snack. Highly recommended.

We wanted to celebrate our 25th Anniversary somewhere special. We couldn't have chose a better spot. It was a cool, rainy day but the fire was warm when we stepped inside the restaurant. We called for reservations which are usually suggested! However, it was the beginning of the season and with the rain, getting seated by the windows was not... More

A long tradition among the thousands of visitors to Acadia National Park, the setting of this the Jordan Pond House , nestles amidst the mountains and ponds of theNational Park is certainly worth it. However the food , sadly, has declined. The popovers are not the hot, buttery moist things they used to be. The curried chicken salads are bland.... More

You CANNOT leave Mount Desert Island before having popovers at Jordan Pond House !! This is a treat you and your children will remember for a lifetime. Trust me, I speak from experience. Both my husband and I had childhood remembrances and were crushed when the Restaurant burned down years ago, only to be elated to find they had rebuilt... More

Perfectly lovely lunch. The food was wonderful, the scenery incredible, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We just loved every minute of it.

There are no restaurant choices in Acadia National Park, so it's wonderful that Jordan Pond Restaurant is top notch! Located on beautiful Jordan Pond, the restaurant is on the Park Loop Drive. The food is really good, and they offer a nice selection. If you just want a snack, they serve popovers that are "to die for". Dining is inside... More

This is your only choice on your drive through Acadia National Park unless you pack for a picnic. The food was good but not great and the college kids working there are very pleasant and do a good job.

We've been coming to Acadia National park now for about 30 years. For about the first 15 we never ate here. Tea & popovers sounded much more expensive than we could afford, plus we had a young child who wouldn't be interested. We decided to give it a try & now it's a "must do" on our list. You can... More

The setting on Jordan Pond with the mountains in the background is unbelievably pretty and the food is generally very good. Homemade popovers and homemade ice cream are their signature offerings (it's an amazing place to go for afternoon tea on a sunny afternoon) but the rest of the menu is also usually delicious: fish chowder and lobster stew are...
