We are here at the cottage for the summer and The Galley was our first stop. We eat out almost every friday and saturday nights throughout the summer and love the galley. The food is great, the drinks have plenty of alcohol and the staff is very friendly. If its too busy when you go, isnt that a sign that... More

Food is fantastic. My family loves to go when ever we are in the area. In particular the coconut shrimp, honey buffalo tenders and fish are incredible. The service is fantastic. Waiteress are always upbeet and attentive to our needes. We have a vacation home in the area and every friend who visits agrees the galley is the best in... More

My friend and I went there for late lunch on a Sunday, the restaurant was empty. Our server was friendly but informed us right away that many of their seafood items were out of stock. My friend made a special request, the server understood and repeated it back. During our wait for food we noticed dust on the chair rail,... More

Food and atmosphere above average for a tourist town, but the atmosphere and food is so much better at Bray's that we'll never come here again. Service was OK but unimpressive. Food was decent but nothing interesting or unique, although everyone loved the bacon-wrapped scallops. They didn't have any lobster even though we specifically asked if they did when we... More

Heard about The Galley and looked it up online. Menu looked good and off we drove - over an hour and a half. From the outside it looks "ok" but inside it's a treat ! Rustic Maine decor, sports bar tvs and locals - but the specials on the menu were amazing! Ordered the pulled pork sandwich seasoned with Crown... More

We left before we got our drinks. I know it's January but when you have an entire page of lobster rolls and this is your signature dish, not having any lobster when you open is not cool. Decor is too hard and the place to small to have music and tvs blaring on a quiet afternoon. Menu was impossible to... More

The Galley is a year-round seafood restaurant in Naples, ME. It caters to both tourists and locals. Has a huge selection of microbrews and a variety of lobster rolls. The firecracker shrimp are a great appetizer. Never had a bad meal there and have worked in local restaurants in the area for 17 years. The waitresses tend to be friendly... More

VERY good scallops wrapped in bacon. Service is a bit slow, mixed drinks could have been more generous. Atmosphere is average. The scallops are why I continually go back! My family really enjoys the lobster rolls (they have won awards for it).

I'm sad to say this will be my last dining experience at The Galley. The first time we tried to eat here, party of four, we were told we could have drinks but food would be at least an hour and a half so we should go someplace else...huh? By the famale owner! lol Tonight I took my family in... More

We are very sorry you had a bad experience here at the Galley. We strive for excellent customer service which is the reason we have so many loyal local customers who we stay open for in the winter. It is discouraging to hear that during your first visit we had an hour wait, but during the summer & fall, that... More

My husband and I just took a trip to New England. We had seen a TV special featuring "the best lobster roll" in New England. The Galley won the contest and we decided to stop by as we would be driving through this small town on our way to Maine. WOW! I am sure the lobster bisque is the best... More
