This place has amazing ice cream-ribbons of cookie dough swirling in my cookie dough ice cream. The prices are way better than the ice cream joint around the block and the views are better here. Get some food/ice cream and stroll the bridge across the harbor. A must visit.

The specialty waffle cones are a must try. The proprietor Anya has done a wonderful job creating this wonderful ice cream experience in the harbor!

Wannawauf is one of the first places I go for ice cream when we go to Boothbay Harbor. They have the best belgium waffle sundaes. We returned this year for a reunion with a bunch of relatives ranging from 1 1/2 to 70. We stopped by after a poor dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I ordered the classic, waffles with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream. It was excellent and large enough to share. We will stop by again.

As mentioned before, this isn't a restaurant, but rather an innovative hot dog/ice cream stand. Grab one or both and walk the bridge across the harbor. Good, cheap, quick, and fun.

This is a great place for some good ice cream and a sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is about the best I've ever had. Quality is high and prices are reasonable. Yeah, I'll wait in line for that!
