Reasonably priced and good food, but nothing outstanding. And when I am eating seafood in this area, I expect outstanding. Gumbo had great flavor, but I would prefer a few larger shrimp rather than tons of little shrimp with veins. I also got a grilled shrimp salad - you choose from packets of prepared dressings and again, tons of little...

The poboy's are excellent, plenty of shrimp on the poboy's. Fried crawfish was fantastic. Hole in the wall but great food.
I've eaten at Bon Creole several times but much prefer to pick it up and enjoy it at home. There is no better gumbo in New Iberia and its hard to choose between the seafood and the chicken sausage as they are equally good. They come with rice, potato salad and a roll so its very filling. The poboys never...

There was just the right amount of stuffing in our crawdad and shrimp po boys - LOTS! What a neat, homey place. My wife saw the reviews (which were spot-on BTW), and this was the first place we stopped in New Iberville.
It is great and as someone else said, awesome real hole in the wall. We went as a group. There are no waitresses. You place your order at a window and then have a seat in the dining area. They call your name when it is ready and you pick up and eat. Everyone had something different: Crawfish dinner, fried...

Bon Creole is a veritable institution in New Iberia and is known primarily for its poboys. My favorite is the fried shrimp poboy -- the shrimp are large and are piled on plentifully. It's probably the best poboy I've ever had -- somewhat pricey for a poboy but well worth it, believe me. You definitely get your money's worth. The...

We thought this place was great. Its a real hole in the wall but the food is excellent and well priced. We had our fill of fresh and well prepared seafood for about a total of $22 including soft drinks and tax. This is not a place to sit and linger but a great option for a lunch (or dinner)...

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, my wife and I decided to head here when we were in New Iberia. I have to say that the oyster po'boy was a thing of beauty...oysters done just right, bread soft with a nice crust, just the right amount of "salad". A half a loaf plus a cup of gumbo was a...

Would never have gone without a locals reccomendation. Great local food, best lunch spot around. Do not be put off by the fact there are no windows, it is a simple block building with a faded crawfish paintd on the side, great food and fast service. Big servings.
