So, Martin's is more than just a place to grab a bottle of wine. The location in Metairie has an amazing dinner space, and has grown in popularity over the past few years. There is a regular menu and daily specials, I have never been disappointed by a daily special. They also have a deli and sell meats and cheeses.... More

A New Orleans institution. If you can't find a wine or liquor that you are looking for here, they will get it for you. The food menu is varied and very good. Enjoyable place for lunch, but always busy.

I have been going here with my mom since before I was even able to drink wine. Not only does it sell wine, but it sells amazing food as well. Martin Wine Cellar makes me feel special; like I am getting something I can't get anywhere else--(some of it you can, but some you can't.) The food is delicious and... More

Fantastic salad (wish I could remember its name!) lunch with a friend who is "from Metairie.". Place is quaint and was packed! Incredible wine selection and wide variety of deli items. Stop in while you're out and about. You'll be glad you did!

recently realized that in this supermarket where I buy my wine and liqueurs they have a gourmet deli and some tables. food is great and full selection is satisfactory for more than a single menu. great experience with reasonable cost for the quality of food delivered.

but the Metairie store is nice too! The food is consistently good and never a long wait. The wine selections are some of the best in the New Orleans area.

Martin's Deli is definitely catered toward foodies, and priced as such--sandwiches (w/o any side) run in the $8-11 range. But the quality is good & items pack a lot of flavor. Favorites are the Lindy Special, Grilled Vegetable sandwich, and their new "Chopper" wrap. If you can afford to splurge, check out their daily specials--the chefs are always coming up... More

Many weekends we spend in New Orleans and before returning home to Mississippi, we make one last stop at Martin's off Veteran's Highway. Wonderful food for Sunday lunch. This past Sunday, they were sold out of the Veal and Grits (I've had it before and it is wonderful) so I opted for a delicious creole shrimp pasta. Put Martin's on... More
