Not impressed. It was an okay sandwich, nothing special. The oysters could have been cooked longer. The shrimp was nice and crunchy. The pastrami had good flavor but all in all just a sandwich.

Followed site directions and ended up in residential area so use your car GPS. Shared whole shrimp po boy with husband and it was plenty!

I go to college at UL so Old Tyme is a must. I ordered a meatball poboy but it wasn't what I expected. It is not traditional the meatballs or sauce. Now I know all the food there has a Cajun twist, which I should have known. The service was very friendly. Warning they do not take cards, but they... More

Po-boys are consistently GREAT! Seafood is ALWAYS fresh (in this part of the country we can tell if you're giving us anything BUT Louisiana seafood!) They will fix your sandwich anyway you want it but my favorites are always fried shrimp and fried oysters. If you're really hungry and can't decide WHICH one you want, get half and half! No... More

Lunch was crowded but service was efficient and friendly. The secret to these great poboys is the fresh and chewy bread. Our shrimp and oyster poboys were spot on and perfect with Zapps chips. It doesn't get any better for lunch outside on a spring day.

Food is great, service is great. The bread is amazing. Best po-boy I've ever eaten! I would come back again and again.

Awesome food, great environment! You are not gonna find a fancy place but the place has a special charm! Went there because of reviews on Trip Advisor and didn't regret! Coming back for sure!

Believe the hype. The poor boy sandwiches are so tasty and fresh - from the bread to the fish freshly fried. And if they have the roast beef "debris" sandwich when you go... Get it too! Perfect witha a bag of Zapps Voodoo chips.

Fresh french bread, bountiful portion of shrimp, dressed! Big selection of my favorite chips--Zapp's. They had all the flavors including Vood-doo Gumbo. Room next to serving area had a nice friendly bar. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the sunshine. weather.

My favorite one is their fried shrimp po boy. Shrimps are large, so that every bite is so wonderful. I can only eat half one time. On the other hand, they don't accept any credit card and debit card.
