I've been hearing about FW breakfasts from lots of folks since moving to KC. I went expecting to be wowed. It was good, but anyone who has experienced a great diner in NJ will know that FW is just average.
DRWMETMAN - Thank you for giving us a try! While we are pleased to hear you had a nice time with us, we agree, we want to exceed all your expectations too. We will share your comments with the team and will work on getting the wow factor with you!

When family visits from out of town we ALWAYS meet here. Used to be when brothers and sisters and their children All lived close we met our "own special room" often 30+people. Great service AND food.

Visited First Watch for lunch on Wednesday March 6th while I was in town on a personal trip. I have been there several times before and was always satisfied with the meal as well as the service. I ordered a half sandwich (the Beefeater with roast beef, tomato, cheddar and monterey jack on grilled Parmesan-crusted sourdough with a very mild...

Not much around the hotel, but just across the street (walking distance) was a small strip mall. First Watch is low profile but has Great food at a very fair price. The Staff was all friendly and ready to accomodate! If you stay at the hotel, I'd recommend eating Breakfast and Lunch there. They are only open till 2:30pm though....

The First Watch from now on will be first on my list for breakfast! We went there on Sunday morning with my 15 y.o. son and had a delightful breakfast. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. If you order coffee they bring you your own whole carafe. You also get a full pitcher of ice water. The portions are generous,...

Went for breakfast at the Prairie Village location on a Sunday morning - it was packed with a long waiting line. We only waited about 10 mins but I know others after us waited longer. Lots of neighborhood people as there were all chatting with each other Had blueberry pancakes - big and yummy! Definitely would go again..
