Very noisy and clanky inside. Hard to carry on a conversation. Definitely NOT romantic. Good foor, but will not return.

The creme brulé brings me back. Its huge! Not one one those little rinky dink ones. A big huge bowl of amazing creamy-ness. The rest is pretty good too. They are trying to be upscale and do fancy things with their food. If you are picky you might have a hard time choosing something. Would I go back? Sure! I like... More

Very good food and great service. They have outdoor seating in the summer. Bartenders know what they are doing.

I've eaten at Pikks twice. Both experiences were about the same & that is scary. The service is above average to great & the food is very good. However, the place is filthy. Bus-boys do not use sani-buckets, the bathrooms (nasty) are less than 3 feet from the open kitchen & when I went to pick up my jacket I... More

Pikks in downtown Valparaiso is fun and the food is very good. We have had the rather elegant brunch with interesting choices, especially the eggs benedict. We had dinner a couple of weeks ago on a week night and the place was buzzing. Service was excellent for our party of 5 and the food quite good. Each week night features... More

My mind thinks small town when I hear tavern, a place where there is a hardware store, a church, and a tavern. Pikk's is a higher caliber tavern with lovely food and nice atmosphere. The prices reflect this higher status so this is not the place if you are looking to pop in for a burger and a beer and... More

This place is great for a casual lunch or brunch on the terrace (weather permitting) or simply a drink with some appetizers. I recommend to share the house fries (they have a ton of dip sauces to choose from). We had brunch here and I was amazed by the “surf and turf Benedict”. For $10 you get perfect eggs benedict... Pikk's is a newer tavern located in downtown Valpo near the courthouse. It is very clean and cute. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. The entire place, even the alley seating outdoors is non smoking. The staff is attentive. We ordered the tuna tartar, which was excellent (I love raw foods, it might be too raw for some people!). The... More

My dining club chose Pikk's as our restaurant of the month. There were 8 of us. We dine out regularly and were excited to try this addition to the local restaurant scene. We were seated in a small crowded basement. It was nicely decorated so after a while of talking and laughing, the fact that we were in the basement... More

Pikk's has some of the best food in town. The atmosphere is great, and the food is excellent. It can be a little pricey, but it is definitely worth a try! I would highly recommend their calamari and clam chowder, or any of their steaks! My husband and I can't wait to go back!
