I've been here twice in the last few weeks. Love the atmosphere and the food. I will definitely be back!
Hubby and friends like to ride bikes to Richmond on the Cardinal Greenway, and found a few places they like to stop to eat. On a trip through the area one dreary, rainy, chilly evening, he suggested we stop at Little Sheba's. They have so many sandwiches to choose from. It is in an historic area of Richmond. We drove... This was our second visit to Richmond - use it as "home base" when we are antique shopping in the area. Just discovered the Historic Depot area of Richmond, and this great restaurant. The menu is so varied and tempting, I had a hard time making a final decision. In a party of four, not one person disappointed in their... More
My first trip to Indiana involved staying at the worst hotel I've stayed at in years so my expectations for finding a good place for dinner were low. Glad to say that Little Sheba turned out to be an unexpected gem. Charming neighborhood, nice ambiance, genuinely friendly service. It's essentially a sandwich place, with a huge selection of creative subs.... More
Back In February 2013 I decided to have my birthday meal at Little Sheba's. They have a trivia contest on Thursday so we have eaten there every Thursday since then. I decided to work my way through the menu so I can give a valid opinion of the food, service, drinks etc. My favorite sandwiches are: Dr. Jetmore's Flame Thrower,... More
When I think of the area around the train depot, I either think of getting on a train to Virginia as a child or I think of the drunks and druggies but I never think of successful businesses. Walking into this restaurant brought back memories of Sylvania's at a time when it was pretty much the only thing on Fort... More
Awesome sandwiches with crazy names. Make sure to make time to eat here because you may need to look at the menu for awhile. This local sandwich shop has favorites from a lot of the local regulars that have been loyal to Little Sheba's over the years. Make sure to order their homemade potato salad with your sandwich. Good for... More
After reading the menu, I was greatly anticipating my order - the gyro. It turned out a little disappointing. It was smallish, and while good, was merely average for a gyro. Sandwiches average $7.50, with burgers at 8.50 or so. The gyro was $6.50. The potato salad was good, but also small. Other entres were small as well. Granted, the... More
My husband and I frequently drive 40 minutes from our home just to enjoy dinner at Little Sheba's. The atmosphere is great, they have a great beer selection and we feel comfortable bringing our two small children with us. I highly suggest the Miss Piggy
I was really impressed with the friendly staff. We were quickly seated and served. The menu is mainly sandwiches, and there is a selection of over 30 sandwiches to choose from. The food was not bad.
