Great place for pizza and a beer in heart of Bloomington. Can get busy when Illinois State students are in town having fun :-) Great atmosphere and a lot of fun.
We had pizza and chicken wings delivered to our door at hotel. The pizza was pretty good, but the crust was a little too crispy for me. Very good service, though. The wings were very good.
We were Flinger's pizza regulars so when they closed we decided to try some of the other pizza places in town. Honestly, I like this pizza better than i liked Flinger's. The crust was crispy and the pizza was full of flavor and had a lot of toppings. We ordered a thin crust, we ordered it to go and it... More
We stop in about once a month to get the buffalo chicken sandwich. They are large open face sandwiches with cheese, buffalo chicken, bacon, and blue cheese. Absolutely my favorite sandwich in town. We have tried the pizza few times. It was good. The garlic cheese bread is also very good. Prices are fair for the amount of food. Sometimes... More
Long night of Jack and coke? I did at a wedding and this pizza was an amazing midnight snack. We got cheeseburger, sausage, and cheese and they were all good but the cheeseburger was the best
Fresh hot pizza buffet: cheese, sausage, pineapple and ham, bacon, chicken and jalapeños. Above average pizza. Lots of toppings for chopped lettuce salad: diced tomatoes, onions, grated cheese, mushrooms, etc. The Russian and Thousand Island dressings were very good. Other dressings available. Pepsi products and beer. Bar in adjoining pub. Handicapped accessible.
For anyone who has read my reviews you know I like a good beer selection.... Theirs was good, I like LE handed brewery and they had several on tap along with a selection of some fine founders bottles. The pizza... The toppings made a good meal, the supreme and BBQ chicken were both good, but it seemed their crust was... More
Every time I get pizza from Firehouse it's great. Prices are reasonable considering quality and size. Though I usually get takeout, I also enjoy eating at Firehouse. It's got a fun, relaxed atmosphere compared to other area bars. Highly recommend.
We stopped here for pizza one night. We were surrounded by families and college kids and everyone was very nice. The service was fantastic. Good beer too. Each booth had a TV with a remote and most booths were watching sports, but since the kids were with us our table had on sponge bob.
They have tv's at each table, awesome if you have kids. The lunch buffet is a great value and the food is very tasty. It's small in sq feet and can feel over crowded quickly though so avoid if you don't like loud places.
