You can't beat a Portillos Chicago style hot dog. They have great Italian beef as well as delicious salads.

Portillo's chili dog and cheese fries is a must stop for my daughter whenever she is home from college. It means home to her! :)

As a Texas native I had never heard of an Italian Beef! I was greatly surprised at what a wonderful concoction of shaved beef, peppers (both hot and sweet) with au jus sauce added this would be. When it comes to excellent Italian beef and fast service, you can't beat Portillo's. We've had the hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausage and pecan salad. They are all good. If you want to splurge on a milkshake you will be set for the evening. A must stop if you are visiting Chicago.

The Italian Beef Sandwich is amazing ! The rest of the menu is ok .. Hot dog was a disappointment .. Great value for a large family . They cater too so a plus for parties.

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch visit to Portillos. The food was fantastic. I had the small beef with hot peppers and it was amazing. Juicy, hot and tasted like it was homemade. For the value there isn't a better place.
