If my eyes were closed I'd say I was eating the old style burger from Wendy"s. except ithe fries are almost like McDonalds. A perfect combination for "burger and fries". Not the best I've had but defiantly worth the stop.
We loved this place. The hamburgers are smashed thin and very tasty. Fries and chocolate shake completed a great supper. Don't miss it.
Service was fast and friendly. You order at the counter and then find a seat. In just a few, your burger is out in a little white sack. We split the fries and shake and each had...

Great burgers and fries at Gross'. The fries are seasoned with garlic salt and are awesome, and you get TONS of them. Very reasonably priced as well. Small place and can get pretty busy at lunch, but the food definitely makes up for what's lacking in atmosphere.
Good burgers and good fries. I saw an earlier review that read something like '50s diner meets retired marine' and thats spot on. It's worth a stop if you're in town and need a burger fix.
This place has been in business forever. Huge burgers, best fries ever. Locally owned. Quick service with a smile.

Staff are friendly and the place is bustling. Military memorabilia lines the walls and upbeat rock music plays. This is always a treat when I'm on the south end of town!
Best darn burger around!!!!! Had the American special and was more then I could eat...great burger and wonderful fries...

If this is the #1 place in town, it doesn't speak very well for the restaurants available here. Greasy Royal Doughnut comes in second? Come on!
If you are in the area and going to eat fast food this burger joint is a must. It is a family owned, one-of-a-kind establishment that grinds it's own hamburger daily. The patties are thin, like steak-n-shake, but are a better cut of meat. I count myself as a burger expert and this one is in the top two ever. They...
