Nested in an improbable neighborhood, out of the glamorous restaurant districts, this gem of a restaurant is a real treat. In a warm, relaxed ambience, a true, no mis-spelled Italian menu offers a variety of dishes, from creative, tasty antipastos to pasta and risotto dishes, to juicy, well prepared and well presented entrees ranging from fresh fish to tender meats,... I ate here on Saturday night with my husband, in-laws, parents, sister-in-law and brother. I was the unlucky one tasked with coming up with a restaurant that would make everyone happy (including meat eaters, a few vegetarians, and a father-in-law who may be the pickiest eater alive). Luckily Piccolo Sogno made me look good, as everyone enjoyed their meal. The... More

A great place for dinner but beware, on busy nights it is quite loud and hard to hold a conversation if you are in a large party. The bread is great, multiple types served to the table including some great bread sticks. Served alongside the house "olive oil" and house made 12 year aged Balsamic which is outstanding. I had... My son, who now lives in Chicago, had recommended Piccolo Sogno. He knows that our family loves Italian food and we have a tough time finding it in Indianapolis. We were met by Alfredo and taken to a roomy table that allowed my wife's guide dog to spread out. The menu is very lively with many fantastic choices. Alfredo made... More

Fabulous Italian food in Chicago, excellent and sophisticated menu at reasonable prices. Great ambiance, makes it an amazing evening out for a couple. The friendly, helpful service could not get any better..

An Italian gem in the Chicago west loop area. A number of specials that took advantage of seasonal produce with original offerings. Soup and salad were fresh. Pasta was done perfectly and there were many interesting entrees and specials available. Good wine selection. My only complaint was the torts di ricotta dessert which arrived cold and was coarse textured. Cappuchino... More

Wonderful food--great pasta, breads, entrees and small plates. Always nice when a restaurant encourages appetizer sized entrees. Was a bit crowded inside the night we visited but the patio was beautiful--blooming flowers and well-done up-lighting. I would recommend this one!

Another great recommendation by the Superstar Concierge at the W City Center Eden Bernal. My two dining companions and myself were seated right away - in fact what was a reservation for 2 was switched to 3 with no problem. Service was very attentive. Food and wine were excellent. The restaurant has a festive vibe. It's a must visit -... More

Terrific food that tastes authentically Italian. Attentive service. Natty casual atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening.

Indoors or outdoors - a wonderful culinary experience. When I dine on the patio I can imagine I am back in Italy which amplifies the delicious tastes & smells of the cuisine. The restaurant has transformed an industrial location. Try the arugula salad with pears, goat cheese & lemon oil for starters. Recommended main course... Any pasta, particularly the gnocchi.... More
