We had dinner two times in this restaurant this summer (July) and were pleasantly surprised by the superb quality of the food, the excellent service and the fine admosphere. The price is absolutely right for what you get.

We enjoyed the meal @ Back Country -- menu is not large, but food quality was excellent. Small room but they are making it work.
We ate here on a Friday night. Very nice by Stanley requirements. Diners dress up by Stanley standards. Very good food.
My wife and I have been coming to Stanley every summer for the past 6 years. Stanley is a truly remarkable little town in the heart of the awe inspiring Sawtooths. The Back Country Bistro is a hidden gem in the heart of the Sawtooths. If you are lucky enough to spend any time in Stanley, make sure you take advantage of this culinary sensation. The shrimp appetizer is absolutely delicious with its amazing sauce. Having to pick between the creamy artichoke soup and the caesar salad is not easy as...

Exactly what it claims to be -- upscale dinner restaurant with interesting food prepared and served with skill and precision. So pleased I went back to the kitchen to give staff personal kudos.
Decided to take a night away from the tent and the fire pit and treat ourselves to a nice dinner out in Stanley. So glad we did. We started with the grilled Caesar and shrimp. My husband had the antelope and I had the trout with potato mashers and veggies. Absolutely delicious. We finished with a creme brulee which we...

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner, great food and service. Next time we are in Stanley we will definitely go back.

The wine list offered a few of our favorites and the food was tasty and very nicely presetned. What a nice surprise to find such a great restaurant in little...
