I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The owner is always there to greet you with a smile. His staff is consistently excellent, so much so that I have felt compelled to leave tips around 75%. The chef is excellent. Every thing I have ever eaten here has been excellent and... More

Hands-down the "best" restaurant in Dahlonega. Yes, we've done the famous/historic Smith House and enjoyed the "atmosphere" there (and fried chicken) but wanted something w/a little class/elegance for our daughter's college graduation and a nice dinner w/the family prior to the ceremonies. Late lunch/early dinner before a 7PM graduation worked perfectly at THE CORKSCREW CAFE. I'd called ahead to reserve... More

Small cafe I'm glad to discover via trip advisor. My husband and I love to eat...we are closet foodies, but we definitely enjoyed our meal here. Our server, Sydney, was very efficient and we definitely appreciated the owner coming out to speak with us and get feedback. Great establishment, food, service a nd ambiance. Covered patio for spring and fall... More

Wines and service was outstanding. Their orange house dressing was a surprising treat. Most of our group of 10 got either the trout or special of grouper. One ordered the chicken and was crazy about her dish.

We went for lunch on a Saturday in March. The location is excellent-it is just a few steps off the Square. We were greeted by a very nice young man as we approached. He was standing outside in front of the restaurant and he led us inside when we told him we'd prefer a table inside. We had a few... More

We were visiting our son at North Georgia College and also wanted to check out the Bear on the Square event and saw that the Corkscrew Cafe was highly rated in Trip Advisor. What a delightful place to eat. We had brunch on Sunday and although it was busy were seated immediately. it is a cozy place on the interior... More

This restaurant was great. We ate outside in the back patio for dinner. Food was delicious. The staff is very attentive, polite and helpful. I had the special, my husband had the steak. If you're looking for a find, this is it. Out of the way, quaint, rustic, warm and cozy!

We stopped in for some lunch before heading out to the wineries in Dahlonega. It was good Friday, but they had a variety of meatless dishes that we all enjoyed! Their special of the day- shortrib sliders- sounded incredible and would have been my first pick! The cafe was pleasantly busy with the other tables mostly full. We all enjoyed... More

Friendly owner, nice service. The food was interesting and tasty. Portions were good size. The owner works hard to make his restaurant top-notch.
