We had lunch here a few weeks ago and the food was good but not great. It was much like other food I have eaten in restaurants in this area of Florida...very bland. The service was very good and we liked the dog meals they offer for your pet.

Had the red fish sandwich.. what a tasty treat. White, flaky, moist, cooked just right. Going back to try something else. Always happy when a restaurant knows how to prepare fresh fish. Small place in a strip mall.. kind of tripped over it, and sure glad I did.
I had the great pleasure of meeting Michele and Dean in person Saturday night at their new Bradenton restaurant and had an absolutely incredible meal with fantastic people! From the wine, pickle bites and blackened red fish to the amazing key lime creme brule....my taste buds were sated. Thank you so very much for a great dining experience and a...

My wife and I ate at Cedar Reef last Friday based on many favorable Google reviews. We ordered a draft beer and a chardonnay. Beer was out of stock, so ordered substitute. Chardonnay brought was a sweet Moscato which waitress grudgingly exchanged. Appetizer was fried calamari with peppers, which was hot from fryer, but tasteless except for many more peppers...

e beer as well. A terrific find. Unassuming place in a strip mall next to Publix. The fresh oysters were indeed fresh and less than half the price of the inferior places in town. OK. There was a bit of sand in a few of them, but the price and freshness more than compensated. Fantastic blackened Grouper and yummy fish...

Cedar Reef is a great little restaurant. Has some outdoor dining. Always stays busy, so plan to wait a bit. Has daily specials. Salmon on Wed is really great and only $10. Fish and chips on Mondays for $6-7. Worth a try.
Wondered in one day for lunch and loved it. I had a fried fish sandwich and a cup of the Alligator soup. Both were amazingly delicious. Will never eat a fish sandwich anywhere else again. The soup was fantastic. Our waiter was friendly efficient. This place is great.
The Oysters Rockefeller rate as some of the best. On a value basis, they are the best. The small but adequate deconstructed Caesar Salad is an excellent second course for an additional $2.00 when ordering an entree. My favorite entree is the blackened redfish. Daily fresh fish specials are also an excellent value. Small restaurant with limited seating, upbeat energy...

Had what was probably my fifth visit here last week. The menu has changed greatly from the early days, now featuring a decent selection of fried seafood and nightly specials. The menu has gone from too little choice a bit in the other direction which must be a challenge for the tiny kitchen. You won't see a harder working crew...

Went to publix and ran across this place, I tried it out for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the great service and amazing food. I came back for lunch and was just as happy! I'll defiantly be back
