This is what a neighborhood deli used to be like. The staff remembers you, what you like and don't, and what you may want to try. Locals to celebs here. The owner, Josh, is talented, friendly and genuinely happy to see you. The different types of corn beef hash are terrific. The fresh juices are made to order. Conversations about... More

This place is amazing! Very fresh unlike so many deli's. thoughtful menu, nova is the best anywhere. They make their own bagels, they make their own everything! Do yourself a favor...go early!

A friend recommended Josh's, so we went for a visit and had a wonderful meal. Josh's is small, almost a boutique deli, if you will, but the food is worth the trip. There are celebrity photos on the wall, all with fake greetings and signatures (from deceased persons such as Milton Berle and the Marx Brothers; Josh's has not been... More

Josh was at the grill, very friendly. Service was great, though it seems, I got there just as the lunch crowd had left. Had a corned beef and pastrami sandwich and a coconut and carrot cake for desert. The meat was delicious, but the bread seemed like it came out of a bag in the bread aisle in Publix. I... More

For locals maybe this is the place for pastrami, etc but it is just OK. Bread was not fressh, corned beef was grossly fatty. Potato pancake disappointing especially reheated in microwave. Even the chocolate egg cream only resembled a Yoo-hoo with bubbles.

Josh's Deli is one of Surfside's best kept secret's (not)!!!! It's a tiny little place that's currently only open for breakfast and lunch! The menu is limited, but Josh always has some great daily specials. Also, if it's not on the menu and he has the ingredients, he'll prepare it for you! The staff and owner (Josh) are always welcoming... More

A yummy moderne take on traditional Jewish deli. I had tuna pastrami... Sushi grade tuna made like pastrami, as a Reuben sandwich, that was to die for! And then chocolate babka bread pudding that was out of this world. One of Miami's best...and washed down with Dr. Browns cream soda.... Like a dream.

For lunch we had a Jewban and a pastrami sandwich. House smoked meat was delicious. For breakfast tried the house cured salmon...outstanding fresh bagel chips. A casual place in a area of pricey eateries. Open 8:30-3:30 every day

A small place, but worth waiting for a seat. Chow down on New York style deli with a homemade touch, and crispy latkes on the side.

We're not Jewish, so not qualified to pass expert judgement on this place, but I must say that my corned beef hash and eggs was better than any other corned beef hash and eggs I've ever experienced, made with an abundance of delicious chunks of actual corned beef, not some mushed up stuff out of a can. Took awhile to... More
