Let me start by saying that I love this restaurant and I want to see it succeed. Hence my four star rating. Cuvee has enjoyed the kind of reputation in Ocala that made it the place to go for special occasions, when you have guests from out of town, or any other night when you want something reliably delicious and... Decided on this place for a special night out based on the reviews. Pretty disappointing. Ordered the shrimp appetizer which was okay but it only one shrimp. The lobster bisque was okay, the cesar salad was not very garlicky. I had a steak. It was good but not worth $50, especially without any sides. My wife isn't much of a... More

Just an amazing experience. As a solo traveler I don't really eat out very often because in many places they don't seem to take good care of me but this was above and beyond my expectations. I wish they had places like this where I live.

First trip. Interesting concept in using essentially an modern Automat system to try different wines with dinner. Slide a smart card into the slot and punch up what wine and quantity you want. Food was excellent and well prepared. Some of the portions were quite sizable. Important: service is by professional level waiters who interact with the customers very well.... More

The atmosphere is great and the concept of getting wine by the ounce and having hundreds to choose from is cool. A great way to try different wines without taking a second mortgage out on the house. Haven't tried the entree's yet, but everyone raves about them. Wasn't impressed with the appetizers, I understand they are tapas portions, but there's... More

Cuvée was a wonderful restaurant, so much a favorite that we ate there often. In addition to an attentive staff and a terrific wine selection, the restaurant offered very good food. Entrees were well executed and paired with thoughtful sides. The chef has a real knack for using ingredients in creative ways, and shows true skill in his execution of... More

I'm back. Have been to Cuvee over 50 times in past 2.5 years. I am sickened by the new menu. What a waste of the chef's talent. No pastas. No fish. No veal dish or medallions. Boring chicken now. Overpriced a la carte steak joint now. Mark's is a better steak place. I had come here for sauces, imaginative meals... More

I'm obliged to join the tiny minority who didn't appreciate this place. Although my wife and I are grape growers and wine collectors and thought Cuvee's concept might make it an oasis for us, we were greatly disappointed. Our tiny table was packed in so that we were practically in the next table's lap. The waiter was poorly trained and... More

Everything started out great - very nicely decorated, very unique wine system (with lots of great taste chances), wait staff very well versed in both wines and food on the menu. My guest and I both found the food we tasted to be very good. Only down side was toward the end our waiter was not very attentive - seemed... More

This was are first experience with the restaurant and we have been in the area for eleven years. First they put us in a corner booth that was very tight and we are thin people.. The spring rolls were not very good,. in fact the ones you get at Costco are much better. Next came the salad that was so... More
