When we pulled up to the restaurant tonight we were surprised to see the restaurant had changed its name to Restaurant Bonjour. We went in and were greeted by the new owner - Pierre. He bought the restaurant in the last month, is extremely personable, and we wish him every success. He has kept Mimi's menu for the time being... More

We recently were invited to Mimi's Cafe to dinner. It was our first time at that restaurant. Unfortunately the experience was TERRIBLE. The service was very rude and not friendly at all. The food was mediocre and certainly overpriced. The atmosphere was non existant. The place is too small for too many people. We will NEVER return and will make... More

We recently had dinner at the subject restaurant. It was our first time and we will not return. The food and service were marginal at best. The restaurant was small and the acoustics were terrible such that we could not have a conversation across the table. For the prices charged the food was below average and the escargot not worth... We always enjoyed Marie Michelle in Venetian Bay and we were looking forward to dinner at Mimi's Cooking. The food was good but the rest of the experience was disappointing. There are too many tables in the small area, the service was mediocre and the owner was too busy greeting the people she knew and neglected overseeing the restaurant. Would... More

We had a reservation at Nemos tonight at 6:30 P.M. but wasn't honored so we ate here and had a great meal. If French food is your deal, then this place is for you. Lots of seafood, pork chops, chicken on menu. Great place.

Our second visit to this restaurant. Michele, the owner, warmly greeted us. Our server remembered us from 2 months ago and knew what I had eaten. Tonight I had the duck - absolutely fabulous- crispy, not greasy, with sauce on the side. Dressing on salad - capers and lemons - was light and tasteful.

Mimi's Cooking is a small bistro style restaurant. My first impression was that it looked very cute and inviting. It's obvious the owner must like plants and flowers. The waitress who took our order was not very amiable. But, the meal turned out to be a real winner. My husband ordered the Croissant Monsieur which he enjoyed (we recalled how... More

My husband and I had lunch at Mimi's, arriving 40 min. before closing time. Immediately upon entering, we received looks that said we were an inconvenience arriving at that time. When we entered, we were not greeted and I had to ask where we should sit. The waitress just pointed at a table without speaking. Although a small place and... More

In a warm and cosy spot just off a main highway there is a terrific little bistro. It offers the classics from onion soup and pate to duck and filet brochette a poivre, and but of course a chocolat mousse! Kisses from the owner, lovely attentive wait staff brings a postive energy to this wonderful and casual eatery . Mimi's... More
