We ordered Paella that tasted like it was cooked a week ago, all shell fish was like a piece of rubber and rice was floating in some liquid with a taste of bacon
We stayed at the location which is also The New Hotel. The food and atmosphere was excellent. The Ceviche was so good we ordered it twice. The service was a little slow but the place was packed and busy with a local art also going on. The place is ran by a husband and wife. They were both out in... More
Great beer. Great atmosphere. Husband and wife team run the boutique hotel (10ish rooms) and the cool beer garden behind the place. It's a gem relaxed and nice my husband and I sat in lounge chairs by the pool ( for ambiance only ) and had a few microbrews :-)
The food here is as good as any in Miami Beach. Excellent. Flavorful, interesting and a good price for the beach. You won't be disappointed. My only regret is that I waited 4 years before trying it! Try the jalapeño margarita.
Great place to spend the night, with happy hour when some beers and cocktails are two for the price of one. On top of that, it's a nice atmosphere and friendly people. It's a modern version of a beer garden (so don't think German variety!) and it's part of a small hotel with pool. The food is good as well,... More
Upon prior reviews from others we decided to hit Lou's while we were in town over the BCS National Championship game in early January. The beer menu is extensive (we tried several at 6-7 dollars a pint, a great value for craft beer in Miami Beach), and the wine list is also very good. Now on to the food! The... More
A great alternative to the many ritzy restaurants in Miami Beach. This casual, outdoors only bar in a small courtyard, with tables around a swimming pool, serves a decent selection of cocktails and craft beers. Service is friendly although somewhat inconsistent (but heh, this is a pub after all). The laid back vibe and casual appearance disguise a creative and... More
Lou's has a great atmosphere. It's small and entirely outdoors so it can be steamy in the summer. The staff is helpful and friendly. They have interesting beers on tap (and a daily 2-for-1 happy hour!) and a good bottle selection. Last time, they were passing around sake shots (out of the butt of a plastic pig). So wrong and... Hi all! Lou's is one of those hidden gem's you hear about but rarely make it to unless your friend invites you. Well, I'd have to say don't wait for an invite, make it your thing! Lou's is a quaint local hangout that should not be overlooked! The food is exceptionally good and moderately priced and there beer selection is... More
