Bonita Bills is a local bar on the bayside with a amazing views , you can dock your boat and grab a beer . It's rustic and a bit rough round the edges , but it's a local bar full of characters . You order food from bar , eat off disposable plates and clear your own table . The... More

Beware....cash only. Order at the window. Food was ok. I had the fish sandwich (it was swai....could have got that cheap at the grocer back home...I guess without the view). Also did the fried shrimp....shrimp boats are RIGHT here at the docks, but I guess the fried is frozen (really tiny and WAY too much batter). Guys liked the $5... More

Went here based on a recommendation from a guy staying at our condo. He described it as very basic but great place for a plate of peel and eat shrimp. He was right. Walked in and it seemed like a local place. Ordered beers and shrimp at the bar, (cash only) from a waitress who had zero personality. Oh well.... More

This is a bar/restaurant that harkens back to the days before Fort Myers became a tourist town. Nothing fancy, just local folks enjoying plates of nice-sized peel-n-eat Florida pintails ($14.75 a pound), fried clams, waffle fries and onion rings in plastic chairs while watching the boats go by. There are seats inside, too, but it was a little loud for... More

Rum Runner with a floater, then 5 steps later you are back on the beach. Great staff at the bar too.

My sister, mother, and I are sure to come back to Bonita Bill's every time we're all in town together. We love a good karaoke night and this is one of our favorites in the area. We've only come in for the drinks (reasonably priced, especially in a tourist zone!) and the singing. We haven't ever had the food (it... More

We were in the area on vacation and found this gem last year and HAD to visit again this year. Nothing fancy about Bonita Bill's just good food and great a great great view as you eat. Find a table inside or on the actual dock then walk to the bar to order your drinks and food. Enjoy watching people... More

So an old salt walks into Bonita Bills and the bar falls silent as every eye turns toward him. Finally the bartender summons the nerve to ask the obvious: "Uhhh...why do you have a ship's wheel lashed to your crotch?" Long silence. Finally the old salt sighs and says: "Arrrghhh....it's drivin' me nuts....." Yep, that's the kind of place this... More

Wanted a place to grab breakfast! We were so lucky o find this place! Cash only! Good food! Spectacular view on the dock! Would have lived to have gone over for lunch (peel and eat shrimp or fish sandwich!). Just a cool place to go. Will forever be a must-go-to-spot while in Fort Myers!

Bonita Bills is the best! Great food, atmosphere and Sunset Ale. We NEVER vacation at Ft. Myers Beach without including several trips to Bonita Bills!
