This place was really great. The yucatan shrimp are not to miss! I would definitely recommend this spot.

Went with couple we were visiting and 3 of the 4 of us had a great meal. The wives had the Tri-Fin special which was excellent. My husband had a salad which was also good. Our friends husband had the paella which was not very good. It was very oily. Friend is from a country where paella is big so...

Found this restaurant the first night of our vacation and decided to try it. As they say busy restaurant means good food and that statement is true. I had the Chef special which Tri-fin on a sticky rice with Asian veggies and my husband had the dry rubbed rib eye steak both were absolutely delicious. Huge portions and very fresh....

Location a bit tricky but well worth it. Great food, great service, great atmosphere overlooking the bay. We would have gone back for a 2nd visit but ran out of time. Fish taco's were very good. I also tried a couple of the mixed drinks, they were delicious.
Our go-to place for dinner, sometimes lunch, in Ft Myers Beach.
All of the appetizers are generous enough for sharing, or, as a small meal. The fish fingers and any of the flatbreads are a must, especially the artichoke.
One can never go wrong with the special, usually have to get there early to ensure availability. We often eat later,...

I had heard a lot about this place, and we were glad we made a point to stop for lunch. Lovely decks with waterfront views! I wanted to try what was said to be "the BEST fish sandwich ever"......and I must say, for $9.99, it was quite tasty. It was lime and Panko breaded and then baked. I asked the...

Food was very good, just had appetizers due to going out on a boat trip, but they were great. Would love to go back for dinner just to relax and enjoy the view.
Ate here based on the reviews. Chicken Parmesan sandwich was good, fish sandwich was very good. Yucatan Shrimp were good, but overcooked. Very spicy. I ordered a salad instead of fries but it never came, no problem the waiter took it off the bill. Sat outside by the water, band was playing. Overall nice experience
Doc Ford's is a great place for local cuisine. We sat out on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful view and weather while we dined on great food. I had the shrimp and grits which were very good. The Yucatan Shrimp is also a very good appetizer. While the service wasn't overly friendly, it was somewhat efficient. Overall, I would...

This was recommended as a restaurant to visit when we were spending a week on Ft Myers beach. We had the special Scallops and it was fine, but the mojito left us wanting, not enough mint or rum flavor. Service was fine. The shrimp appetizer was great!
