Wonderful, affordable, home cooked Mexican. Highly recommended and a nice break from a week of seafood gorging.

This renovated Waffle House was what we were looking for in a breakfast. We were seated quickly and the coffee was down almost before we took our seat. We had scrambled eggs, hash brown, and bacon which were all good. I was most impressed with the prices. We will diffidently be back on our next visit to St. George Island.

Tastes much better than your average Mexican restaurant. Super quick and reasonable prices. I will certainly eat there again.

I think I've eaten there 4 times over recent years, El Jalisco on 98 does everything well. 1. Fast service. 2. Great food. 3. GREAT margaritas! 4. Good portions. 5. Good prices. The place isn't a "classy" restaurant, but it fits in with the neighborhood, and It's clean and festive in its decoration. When I'm in North Florida, I make... More

The place looks like a converted waffle place, but serves good and low priced Mexican food. The staff were hustling the whole time and a whole range of locals including the sheriffs seemed to be eating there. AN extensive menu made for a difficult choice. But both of our meals were hot and good and were served quickly. The fresh... More

You wouldn't think of a Mexican restaurant as a breakfast place, but it was very good. They have a full breakfast menu and everything we had was good.
