On appearance it seems like a good value. Four courses for the price of your entreé. First the good: The waitstaff was attentive! Good about refills and taking orders. Bland soup began my meal. Decent next course of salads. Entreés were lacking in flavor. Maybe because the average age was 75, as one other reviewer noted. Pasta with seafood seemed... More

Oof. I went there tonight, 3/24/13, and while the decent enough minestrone…'soup,' if you can call it that, was well-ish made, no complaints on the run-of-the-mill Caesar salad, but the entree was the piece de resistance. Chicken Parmesan. Simple enough, right? Chicken breast, lightly breaded, fried, slightly sauced and cheesed (verb?). Nope. What I got was clearly freshly harvested-from the... More

Food is good and you get a complete meal from appetizer to desert. Wait staff was attentive, but not overbearing. Food was plentiful. Too much to eat, took some home. The chocolate cake was fantastic. Important to make a reservation. Restaurant is small. Would go back.

I've been to Chef Dooley's twice in the last 6 months and it was outstanding each visit. This last time was for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. I didn't think to make reservations since it's a local restaurant in an odd location. I forgot about the snowbirds being back in town! They were booked for the night but the hostess... More

You would never think this restaurant was hidden away in the Publix plaza! We have been here several times, and the food is superb! Service could not have been better! It really is such a good value as well. the price of the entree includes an appetizer or salad and coffee and dessert. Many different entrees to pick from. Reservations... More

We dined there on 9/8/12 and loved every morsel. Good service, upscale food at a moderate price. Very happy camper and everyone we take there loves the place. Reservations a must. Enjoy!

In June, 2012, I faced the unpleasant task of visiting Deerfield Beach, FL. to move my mom into an assisted living facility. The week was physically and emotionally exhausting. My meals consisted of fast-food fare.....my goal was merely to fill my tummy to keep up my strength. One day, after a leaving a Dollar Tree in a strip mall, I... More

The food that we had at Chef Dooley's is probably the worst food we have ever eaten. I had eggplant parmesan that tasted like burned popcorn. My husband ordered the zuppa di pesce-the clams and mussels had the substance of rubber and were tasteless; the sole was so fishy that it was not edible. We will never go back to... More
