They changed the name to The Leanora, and the food was outstanding and the service was above and beyond the call of duty.
Though the menu may be limited in choice, the food was outstanding and the service even more so. The environment was a perfect setting: quiet, small but spacious, and the size allowed the wait staff to attend to practically every need at any given moment. The best service we have ever experienced.
Great location and ambiance. Attentive wait staff. Unfortunately food was a disappointment. It got excellent reviews so maybe it was my food choices. But I was very disappointed.
We are happy that you enjoyed the ambiance and our central Vail Village location. We are sorry you did not experience what the other reviewers did. I have sent you a message off line to discuss your issues and hope to hear from you soon. Thank you. More
Leonora is a welcome addition to the variety of restaurants in Vail. The menu is eclectic with an emphasis on a tapas style of cuisine, lending itself to sharing wonderful dishes with friends. The design of the restaurant is as sophisticated as the menu. Two outstanding dishes that are extraordinary are the fried olive appetizer and octopus. The service and... More
Wow!! Doesn't even begin to describe our experience at Leonora! Sara was our bartender/server and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. With helpful suggestions of her favorite dishes (we had the lobster tacos and the tempura asparagus, yum!) we were able to have an amazing dinner. After we decided on our food she... More
My husband and 23 year old daughter ate dinner here last night (July 10) and we all agreed it was a great dinner. It is located in the Sebastian which is easily accessible from I70 if you're coming from down valley (we drove in from Edwards) and there is easy valet parking. We got there about 7:15 and were the... More
Leonora is the best kept secret in the Vail Valley. Tucked into the luxurious Sebastian Hotel, Leonora is an elegant restaurant with a cozy, charming feel. The bar and indoor area is warm and inviting, however, since it was a perfect Summernight in Vail, we chose to sit outside on the beautiful patio. The entire restaurant seemed to go above... More
Beginning with the croquetas was a wonderful start. The salmon and tuna crudo tasted great and was beautifully presented! My husband had the mussels and I had the cod. Loved them both. Of course we had to share a couple tastes, but they were so good neither of us wanted to share much! Dessert? yes! The white chocolate soup was... More
Outstanding meal prepared by Executive Chef Sergio Howland. Chef Howland was out talking with the customers! The new summer menu has a wonderful variety of menu selections. It was hard to decided what to order. Daniel our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu & very helpful! Billy was also very helpful. Elegant dining and wonderful service. Nice music in... More
