Seeking good authentic Mexican food and it was marginal and bland at best. Server was never around when we needed her. I would try somewhere else next time.
After years of traveling throughout Colorado, I find myself constantly rating the Cactus Flower as one of favs for Mexican food. From the minute you sit down, the corn chips (a mixture of blue & red corn and fried flour chips) and medium salsa get you going. I'm glad they don't change you for refills on either, as it's smart... More
We have been to the Cactus Flower many times before to find the food and service good so this may have been a one time deal. We were seated and served chips and salsa. We ordered or drinks and then our entrees. We were all so hungry that we devoured the small basket of chips! The waitress Gina came back... More
Fun and easy place to stop and grab a bite. Lunch specials are good. Staff is friendly. Overall they get an "A"
It is close (you can walk from all the hotels) to the hotels on Eagleridge Rd (Exit 102). I ordered the Steak Tacos which were very good. The Waiter was friendly and good know how about the menu. Price is acceptable/reasonable. It took over 18 minutes for the steak tacos to be served, which I think is a little long... More
This was another restaurant that we found within easy walking distance of our motel (Comfort Inn). Being from Texas, we hold Mexican food or Tex-Mex to a very high standard, and the Cactus Flower delivered! We had good food, good service, good cold beer, and the price was right! The place was a bit on the noisy side, but only... More
I am not sure if this is Mexican food or "white" Mexican food. I have lived in Pueblo for 6 years and only have eaten here twice that should tell you something. Both times the food lacked flavor and I did not care for it at all. Neither time did I actually finish my plate. Will not be going back... More
We had an great waitress. The drinks were good and the food was really good. Only complaint I had is the tables are too close together and I was always having to lean out of the way for patrons and wait staff to move around. There were plenty of empty tables in other areas that could have been used and... More
Nice waiter but service and kitchen were very slow. Nice decor inside but my Chicken Fajita Salad was not that great - very heavy with cheese, beans, greasy chicken. Pico was gross, it had Italian salad dressing in it.
