What's NOT to love about this fabulous restaurant! The food is amazing, the owners are so friendly and interesting.
Stopped in for some pasta on our way to a big bike ride. The waitress talked my husband out of the ravioli saying it would take upwards of 30 minutes and everything else was much faster, 10 at the most. Well 20+ minutes later our dinner came. My friend and I ordered spaghetti and meatballs...we got 1 meatball and 1...

Years ago this was a decent restaurant. We had spaghetti and ravioli dishes that had watered down sauces. The salad had wilted lettuce and hardly any dressing. The owner greets the regulars but ignores everyoine else. Won't be going back. I'm not a former employee and my posting is 100% true.
As a long time resident if Glenwood Springs, Florindo's is one of the best if not the only Italian restaurant that comes close to delicious and original. They have your regular Italian dishes but there are surprises off menu also! It's too bad that the former employee, that was fired, started an awful online rumor about them and the restaurant....

True Italian food and entertaining waitstaff . Don't be in a rush and enjoy the excellent food. They are retiring soon so if you get a chance go now, you will not regret it.
wine selection was on the low end of the quality scale. the red sauce was sweeter than a hershey bar with out a tomato taste is why I would order a red sauce. extremely over priced and poor quality food. I felt this resturant was not customer freindly to our group nor did they try to accomadate our health diet...

I heard the table next to me mention the amazing caeser salad, so I tried it and they were not wrong! All in all very delicous meal.
They have a nice sized menu, and the wine list has some good bargains. They want to say they are high end Italian (no pizza) but the menu is too dated and not "fresh" in my opinion.
I know many people rave about this place, but it is hard to see why, especially when there are two better Italian restaurants only steps away from this place. We went here on a busy Saturday night because the other two restaurants were packed and we were starving. This place was empty. I should have listened to the warning bells...
