If you are looking for a unique place to grab a drink with your spouse or some friends before/after a nice meal, this is the place. Quirky, extensive drink menu. Nice ambiance, frequently with live music. Adjacent to the Mahogany Grill and Strater Hotel, but not just for guests of those places.

The Office used to have a great happy hour with half priced appetizers and drink specials. Now the entire appetizer menu has been changed, not for the better, I might add, and it's no longer half price. Can't understand why management thought this was a good idea. Place used to be packed, but it was nearly empty during prime happy... More

Worst Margarita that I have ever tasted. Not sure what ingredients were used to make it except it tasted a lot like water with some lime juice squirted in. Staff is friendly and it is convenient to the downtown area. Was really packed when I visited. Had a live musician singing and playing a guitar.

All the staff were fun and personable. The food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. A great atmosphere as part of the historic Strater Hotel building.

Really good food for a bar inside a hotel. Had a flat iron steak for $14.00. Bar is really small and tends to get crowded around happy hour. Frequented by more young people and locals than the other bar at the hotel.

We had always meant to stop by "The Office" for a drink but never did until "Noel Night". It was packed but we were willing to wait 15 minutes or so for a table for two in the back. Had a fun evening with wine and several delicious small plates off the bar menu. We ordered two we liked best... More

Adjacent to the Strater Hotel and Strater Theatre on Main Ave. downtown Durango. This is a great bar to swing into after work, before dinner or after. Great appetizers too. Fireplace and often subtle live music. One of my favorite local bars, especially if you are looking for low-key quiet conversation.

Yes, for me its the best. We stayed 2 nights in Nov. for an anniversary present to ourselves. Had a magnificent room on the corner overlooking downtown Durango. Exquisite American Victorian furniture - the most beautiful bed frame and canopy I have ever seen -let alone sleep in. Every place you look there is a beautiful piece of furniture and... More

By far, the best Happy Hour in Durango... cost, food, drinks, atmosphere, location, people! Get there early, it fills up quick. Great news is, all the pricing is still great outside of Happy Hour... and seating opens up. I love the couch in front of the fire place!

Best place to mingle and have drinks in a wonderful atmosphere. This is the place to dine for short menus. If you want to dine in elegance with your western jeans and or casual dress, try the Mahogany Grill which joins the Office.
