This is a roadside joint. It small, the menu is limited but that's ok because it's mostly just a barbecue sandwich place. Their barbecue is outstanding and it is way better than Rudy's. I haven't noticed any political talk when I was there and never engage in that type of conversation myself. This is a good local place for barbecue.

The food has not improved (not worth the $) and now the owner (from TX) has made this place a political site. Conversations about local politicians and heated, angry and foul mouthed.
