This isn't just a Bar and Grill. This is a Bar and Grill with GREAT food. Everything we had was super yummy. Heavily laced with locals (who always know the BEST places to eat)...I would caution those with children as drinking seemed to be a very popular activity in the middle of the day (as did the I suspect pot... Had to go to Crested Butte on business (what a drag, huh?), so of course we wandered around looking at the shops and trying to decide where to eat. We were here in the “shoulder” season – between winter ski season, and the spring/summer resort season. Some shops and restaurants were closed, with some of our first choices not open,... More

The town of Crested Butte is a welcoming town where the people are friendly, the food at The Last Steep is fantastic, and the skiing is amazing. Being from the south, we know good food. This place has it all. They even had fried crawfish that tasted just like it was fried in Louisiana!!! Check it out if you are... More

Being from Houston I am frequently dissapointed by food in other cities but the Last Steep Bar and Grill was amazing!!! I went with my family of four and we all had something different. My son had a burger that was jucy and delicious. I had the special soup. I think it was steak and cheese with jalepenos. What ever... More

I love burgers....this was just an 'okay' burger. Nothing to write home about. I had a bloody mary since they were voted the "best" in town. It didn't meet my expectations either. To be fair though, my husband makes a killer bloody mary! I haven't had one that even comes close to measuring up to his.

just casually walking by on elk street you might miss this cafe. It has a cozy little outside eating area on the side with umbrella tables under trees, and is great for nice weather. Has great burgers and soups and other unique foods. I like just sitting outside and enjoying their cold beers and other great drinks. If you get... More

This was my first time in Crested Butte, Colorado and The Last Steep was an incredible find! It is a welcoming establishment with food, beverages, and service that is out of this world! My favorites included the jabenero beer cheese soup and the jerk chicken salad melt! Wow! the Last Steep is not to be missed if you are visiting... More

from the service to the selections to the price...we found this to be our hangout for the weekend. Bloody Mary bar was top notch, excellent section of beers on tap, daily homemade soups were incredible and who can beat their burgers. If you are in Crested Butte - you need to stop in the Steep!

Just spent a four day trip to Crested Butte and found myself at this establishment several times. The menu had so many tasty options that it required return trips in order to try several different options. The beer cheese jalaopena soup was out of this world. It was perfect way to warm up on the cold afternoon. You can't go... More
