The Bottle Room is a great little place in this College town. It appears that many of the customers are from the local Whittier College having some fun away from their studies. My favorite thing about this little place is that they have a great rotation of draft craft beers, always changing and always worth trying. The food is surprisingly... More

We came here specifically because it was rated as whittier's number one restaurant on Tripadvisor. My fiance and I both had burgers - I had a turkey burger and she had an Uptown Bacon burger. They were really really good - both were spicy and well done and had flavours that we hadn't expected. Even the ketchup was nicely spicy... More

A lovely little bar, nice patio. Great variety of beer and wine. Delicious appetizer style food, from sliders to sashimi. Short food menu with unique delectable daily specials.

Not sure why it's ranked #1 out of 60 restaurants in Whittier, but I liked it! There was a long hallway-like area running the length of the bar inside and it looked nice, but we sat outside facing the street. It was fun to people watch and have a glass of wine on happy hour on a Friday evening. Service... More

A friend recommended this place to me and I have to admit I didn't have very high expectations since I hadn't been to uptown in quite some time. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice, chill place to hang out at. I've been back multiple times now and I've always had a great time and the customer service... More

We found ourselves in downtown Whittier after a nostalgic journey to visit some old childhood haunts. Thirst overcame us and we were lucky to wander into the number one place in town, the Bottle Shop on Greenleaf Avenue. This is really a beer version of the wine bar, with lots of selections on tap and in bottles. Many of the... More

I discovered the Bottle Room while visiting my mother-in-law for Christmas. I don't live in the area, but if I did, I'd probably be a regular there. I was only able to spend about an hour at the Bottle Room. I didn't eat anything, and went simply to sample a few beers. My first observation was that the staff was... More
