Does anyone else notice the wrong picture is attached to the heading? Anyway, we only tried this restaurant once. The main problem was that everything was sticky to the touch, table, chairs etc. They deep fry a lot of their food and obviously don't clean well. A lot of young people like to come here and get extremely drunk. Overall... More

The skewers and rolls are off the charts. The wait is always long- Try go there @ 5.45-6 if you hate the wait.

Fairly authentic with some Southern California flair. The staff was great, especially our server, Fumi, Just what we were looking for. A little drive, but totally worth it.

Celebrated a birthday with eight of us on a Sunday night around 6:30. A few people waiting outside and inside the place full of Japanese people which we took as a good sign. Our table was ready when we arrived, a bit crowded but OK. Lots of energy in the place but not too noisy. A round of sake and... More

Delicious Japanese barbeque skewers and other traditional Japanese foods. The hand rolls are especially good. Be sure to get there early because the wait can get long.

I usually don't write negative reviews. But, I had to say something this time. The quality of the Sashimi was below average and their Yakitori was dry and small and tasteless. It's my fault for trusting other people's reviews and not paying attention to details. Just like any Japanese Izakaya, the menu was overwhelming and everything sounded good. I got... More

Ok so it is one of the only places open in Tustin past 9pm but their sushi is average. Not worth the wait.

I arrived early At 5:30 but they took a little longer to open the place, they didn't open up until their were Several people lined up outside waiting. The decor was Japanes decor, and we were seated at a little table for Two which was Right Next to another couple. I could reach over and touch them, if I wanted... More

went on a date there Saturday night. got there around 8:15, waited about an hour for 2 people. food was great and tried lots of things we never had (pork belly, gizzard). worth the wait, but be prepared for it. we ended up not making the movies afterwards since we didn't get out of there until 11pm.

We visited on a Friday evening before 6 and were willing to sit at the bar. The service was prompt and pleasant. Had an overall very satisfactory experience. The food: Knowing this is a Japanese restaurant that offers 'pub style' food (izakaya), we ordered yakitori and other grilled skewers. They were all very good, especially the scallop skewers. The shitaki... More
