Description: California native and Solvang resident, Chef David Cecchini combines fresh ingredients with diverse influences and years of experience to offer rustic Italian Cuisine in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country. The food is Italian in spirit, using local and seasonal ingredients. The menu features Neapolitan inspired, thin crust pizzas baked in an Italian wood burning brick oven with two daily-changing special pies and a "piatto del giorno" from the oven. CECCO'S menu is country casual and friendly, featuring hand made fresh pasta, salumi, salads, grilled meats and seafood. Local wines served by the bottle, glass and quartino are some of CECCO'S other tasteful offerings. Four unique dining areas are offered at CECCO; the casual elegance of the main dining area, along with the convivial dining counter, window counter seating with courtyard views, and the comfort zone at the pizza counter.

Wanted a light dinner in town with our 16 month old. No reasonable options for toddler other than a $10 serving of plain pasta with butter or tomato sauce. You would think that with all of the families that visit Solvang, they would have more options. So we ordered the half chicken which was cooked very nicely and served with... More

Decided to stop by here for dinner while visiting Solvang. We were seated in the nice outdoor area with patio heaters. We just ordered the Cinghiale pizza with the boar sausage etc and that was delicious. I had a glass of some white blend which I thought was not worth the $11 or so. But what really bothered us that... More

Service was great, it is narrow with windows on both sides so it's very light inside (outside area is nice, too). Had the best Caesar salad ever (all four of us agreed), and two really good pizzas. Going back next time to try out the pasta.

Had some great pizza here, the Cinghiale and the Gianni, we loved them both. We also had a bottle of the Brander Cabernet Sauvignon which we really enjoyed. They bring bread with oil and vinegar to the table, very tasty. Would recommend this restaurant!

Cecco is located in downtown Solvang and they serve great Italian food. I had a pizza that was very authentic and very good. My wife had a pasta dish that was cooked to perfection. We had the Cecco salad and it was delicious. Extensive wine list mostly from local winerys which I like. This area makes lots of good wine.... More

I came from a family of Italian chefs and love to try Italian restaurants...I can honestly say this is one of the best I have experienced. My caprese salad was made with yellow heirloom tomatoes that tasted freshly picked. The cheese was very fresh and the pesto sauce delicious. My husband who tries calamari wherever he goes, said he would... More

We found this place as we were walking and I remembered seeing good reviews so we decided to try it. This was very very good. My husband is not fan of Italian food but he loved his pasta. Appetizers were unusual and very tasty. The high table and chairs are not too comfortable and all regular tables were reserved.

Cecco was one of the few restaurants open on Easter Sunday, so we made a reservation for 7pm. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and we were seated immediately. The menu that night was not the one posted on the outside of the restaurant, so unfortunately the entrees we wanted were not available. My boyfriend and I decided to share... More

We were camping in Buellton and read about Cecco's so decided to try it for dinner on a weeknight. I make a pretty good bolognese but Cecco's was truly amazing. Instead of using the standard ground veal/pork/beef they used wild board and short ribs for the meat. It was so delicious. Did not try their pizza but will try it... More
