The Eden Gardens area of Solana Beach is mecca of good Mexican food in an upscale suburb of San Diego. Among these very good restaurants, Rudy's Taco Shop stands out as an outstanding value. Wow! Quiet little restaurant ate here several times and was hard pressed to try anything other than the Carne Asada buritto. Comes with guacamole and salsa fresca. The meat was perfectly seasoned and prepared, tortilla tasted very fresh, all put together for a very reasonable price.

Excellent Cal-Mex fare - burritos are very tasty, chock full with meat and guac, and no fillers. Squirt bottles with excellent spicy salsas (green and red) are a must-have.
