I brought my mom here for Mother's Day brunch, and our food was fantastic! The portions were realistic, and we both appreciated the offer to switch out the home fries for what turned out to be an amazing bowl of fresh fruit. She had the Cowboy omelette which was *loaded* with bacon, and I had the Easy Rider scramble. Delicious!... More

I love this place. I have been to it many times. However, not lately because I have been on a rigid diet. The food is good and reasonably priced. As importantly, there are friendly people who one can strike up a conversation. Linda is wonderful. I wish they had organic food because I could go there on this rigid medical... More

We love to eat here as much as we can. Breakfast or lunch are always great and the staff is very friendly. Sometimes we have to wait quite a while but it's always worth it. We sometimes choose to eat at the counter or "community table" where we have met quite a few very interesting people. Linda, the owner always... More

You better be hungry if you go here for breakfast. They have a great selection and it arrives in a abundant fashion, so put on your food bib. The only downside is that they are not open on Sunday, which is the best day for me.

Well, we are prejudiced- we live half a block from the Spur and we are "regulars." So we have tried lots of items, and we also know how to beat the long lines (go before 9am or after 1pm). It can be noisy and crowded at times but worth it. The food is all fresh, home made and great. NOT... More

Silver Spur is a great place for a huge breakfast. The portions are very large. The pancakes are good and big. Several choices of egg dishes. It's always crowded, so expect to wait at peak times. Everything is home made.

You know it's good here when you see the same folks again and again. Great breakfast menu, with some of the best french toast around!

Went on Labor Day and had a 45 minute wait(lots of benches and coffee while you wait). We have passed this place many times and seen the long waits so we had to try it. They have a good variety, ample portions and decent prices. Everything we had was great(french toast, waffles, eggs, potatoes, biscuits). The service was great. Closed... More

Plenty of good fresh food. Fair prices. Good selection. Very very clean. Weekends will require a wait for a table. "Comminity table" usually available for one or two people with no wait.
