Pretty restaurant with very good food and excellent drinks. Both the chef and mixologist use local fresh ingredients. Try the southern fried chicken.
Came here after booking through Open Table. The dining room atmosphere was warm and inviting, the seating comfy with pillows and booths, as well as tables. It was not crowded and early Friday night. The bar was lively but not too noisy, but I sat in the dining area. My waiter, Jose, was attentive and helpful in choosing a glass... More
We decided to eat here for our anniversary. We were staying in the hotel. I usually avoid hotel restaurants but that would have been a huge mistake. The food was very good. The Warm Citrus Olives were a delight as an appetizer. We had the strip and scallops and shared. They were both excellent. The creme brûlée was decadent. The... More
You know how it is, late arrival and too tired to leave the hotel so you eat in! But we had a good meal. Was a little less impressed when the maître d tried to get me to buy a very expensive bottle of wine. Felt she wasn't really listening to us.
We had a relaxing time in the bar, enjoying wine and snacks. The service was attentive and the seating very comfortable. It's a great spot just to unwind after a long drive to reach Santa Barbara. We would definitely stay at The Canary and enjoy drinks in the Finch and Fork again.
Stopped by for a lunch while headed up the coast. Just had starters but really enjoyed their efforts with Farm-to-Fork efforts.
Kendall - thanks so much for sharing your Finch & Fork experience as well as the photos! So glad to hear you enjoyed your lunch. We are so lucky to have so many great farms right in our backyard and Chef James really likes to support the local market. Please let us know next time you are heading back down... More
We stopped in to try this restaurant in the Canary Hotel, we didn’t want anything too heavy, just a small meal. The bar was very active, seemed like a great place to hang out alone or to meet friends. The restaurant wasn’t busy, it was a Thursday evening after 8pm. The menu is simple but good, lots of choices and... More

Party of four visited here for lunch and it was great. Can recommend the chowder and the pork belly sandwich as well as the tomatoe, cheese and pesto ciabatta. The setting is lovely so nice to idle away a lunch time.
Thank you for the TripAdvisor review! We are so glad to see you enjoyed your lunch with us! Hopefully we will see you again the next time you are on this side of the pond. Sincerely~ Reagan More
Dined here a few times and each time there has been issues with the reservation system. First two times the issue corrected eventually and management asked about making it up to me, how I don't know as there was nothing specifically stated. Well last month returned and hoped that there would be no issues, but of course there were! This... More
Totally awesome breakfast. Had the egg white, veggie and avocado omelet. I came in after a workout and though it is upscale they treated me like I was wearing a suit and even laughed with me as I joked about mt swear making me feel super comfortable. Sam my server was a five star server.
David....so glad to see we got your day off to the right healthy start! Sam is a great asset to our team and I will make sure to share your kind words with him. Thank you for sharing your experience! We hope to see you again soon! More
