The batter on the fish was light and tasty. The chips were good but not a standout. I wish there was some green in the dish and not all fried. The cod was the best I've had. For an $11 meal at a semi fast food joint, I wanted more.

We visited Mac’s on a one day cruise stop in Santa Barbara. The clam chowder was creamy and flavourful, while the fish was very fresh, white, flakey, and cooked perfectly. The fries on the other hand were just OK – a little greasy.

I would have given Mac's Fish & Chips 5 stars if the Fish and Chips was as good as the Fried Chicken. My husband and I both thought the Fish was a bit bland. The portions were a great size for the price. I would definitely go back for the Chicken!
