First time I have visited a Michelin star rated place. Food was good but not mind blowing. Food is "Indian fusion". More fusion that indian! Dont get me wrong it is a very nice place but because of the Michelin star I expected more

Always a lovely and delicious experience. From Shoshana's warm greetings to the chef's inventive dishes and friendly service, when you step into this "home" you feel you are a special guest. The decor is eclectic and warm, and there are always happy surprises--sparking wine served in saucer champagne glasses. Prices for food and wine are very reasonable considering the total...

I was a little worried when I got there since they couldn't find my reservation, but they gave us a table right away with no problem - very gracious. I had been looking forward to the evening since I had read so much about how wonderful the place and food were, and I was so happy to find that I...

The All Spice dning room defines "gracious". So does the hostess. In the kitchen, the flavors of India take on new life in the hands of All Spice's young, energetic chef (the hostess' husband). I'm particularly fond of their soups, which seem "haute cuisine" in texture yet homey in flavor. Two hints - as you near the restaurant on the...

What a find! Allspice is not your typical Indian restaurant. In fact, while the owners describe their menu as contemporary Indian cuisine, and there is certainly an Indian influence based on some of the spices used, I think it really is more of a new American restaurant. Or maybe a sort of fusion cuisine. They are only open for dinner...

On arrival we noticed that All Spice is in a house and the several dining areas makes for a more intimate and quieter evening. The room we sat in had navy and dark emerald stripes on opposing walls, giving the room an especially sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. Looking around it was clear that nothing happened by chance-the arrival of an...

The food at this establishment is creative and a surprisingly pleasant blend of Indian and French with notes of California. Their wine list is somewhat limited, but the offerings are superb and well-priced. The small rooms lend intimacy, but the tables and chairs don't encourage lingering - rather uncomfortable. Customers are well-attended by the serving staff.

This is the third time we have eaten at All Spice over the last year. The food has always been excellent and the service outstanding. If you are looking for an Indian restaurant, this is not it, but if you are looking for well flavored contemporary food *the chef has trained in the french style, most notably at Daniel, NY)...

Very innovative Indian dishes. Try as much as you can . Not one bad dish in our entire dinner group. For me the desserts were unbelievably good. Romantic setting. Can bring your own wine
