Very good overall. Ask them about their pastas if you aren't familiar. Gnocchi was the best. Bolognese on the lighter texture sure but very beefy tasting. Sweet salty dessert was outstanding called Mundae
All perfectly prepared. All very fresh and delicious. Service was exceptional as well. We were there for lunch, and the menu was not gigantic, but there was a good selection of items. The pasta was delicious!
Seeking out a good lunch spot in St Helena isn't really difficult, but finding a GREAT one is a gift. We entered "Cook" to find an intimate atmosphere of 14 tables. A friendly hostess seated us right away despite the fact we held no reservation on this busy Friday. Ordering the calamari to start our meal was one of the...

Overpriced small plates with a crowed atmosphere makes this popular restaurant a pass for me for further patronage. Food is average as not much care is taken in the kitchen.....very nice servers but food wasn't where it should have been.
My wife & I had dinner there on a week night (with a reservation) which was a good thing because it is a very intimate (few seats) restaurant. My wife's scallops were cooked to perfection & my homade pasta was very flavorful. We also shared a side of brussell sprouts that was very tasty. I can see why it is...

Small place that has the most awesome food. The mussels & linguini were superb! The ice cream dessert was unbelievable. Don't miss this place, the food is crazy good.

Pass through the street a dozen times a week and still didn't recall where it was. Perhaps it is the font, the location, competitive distractions that make it seem invisible. The service was nice and friendly. The...

My husband and I had lunch during the weekday--luckily we had reservations because within 15 minutes of sitting down, the place was filled. I had the gnocchi and a side order of brussell sprouts--which were delicious! My husband enjoyed his hamburger. We split a half bottle of wine, which was reasonably priced. A great stop for lunch in a beautiful...

This was a great meal with lots of wonderful tastes. We got our recommendation from a local, and the service was terrific. The host was less than friendly unless he was pressured to fill a table. But the waitstaff and bartender were enough to make up for him. The authentic Italian food was mostly from house made items: sausages cured...
