I made a reservation a few days before Mother's Day to take my mother someplace special. I was surprised that I could get a reservation so late, considering that other places were booked solid. I know why now. Mille Fleurs used to be the place to go in Rancho Santa Fe, but their food and service has slipped so much... More

The service was outstanding! Served from the left, cleared from the right and most everyone spoke French. There was a aire of pomp, which I happen to like in my French restaurants. If you're not pompous, you're not doing it right. The food was nearly perfect! Unless you could crush me with your wallet, I suggest go for special occasions... More

Three of us dined here with high expectations. We were disappointed. The staff was friendly and ambiance welcoming. We checked the Web and knew there was a $40 3-course prixe fixe menu but the printed menus we received at our table did not show it and we had to ask. Made us wonder. We ordered from the menu anyway expecting... More

This restaurant clearly has a following among the residents of Rancho Santa Fe. It was my 3rd visit, and the food, while not inexpensive, and the service are impressive and well worth a reservation.

We had a wonderful meal. We dined with another couple and we all loved our food; among us we had the lamb, the wiener schnitzel, the fish, with either the lobster salad and quail salad to start. the service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. While waiting for our taxi we enjoyed the music in the bar, which was... More

My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day, 2013, two days late, and the evening was perfect. Reservations thru Open Table, the ambience is upscale French, we prefer the banquettes on the right going into the garden room. The Duck Confit salad was possibly the best salad we've ever tasted, paired with two glasses of Piper Heidsieck. The Filet in red... More

When our party (of four) walked through the door, we were greeted by a very warm and inviting atmosphere. This unfortunately cooled down very quickly. The arrogant attitude of the person we believed to be the owner or manager, was at first quite entertaining, but then grew to be just downright rude. We witnessed him being quite nasty to a... More

There were 9 of us, and they placed us upstairs in a single room--we so appreciated being able to have conversations without distractions or noise from the main dining area. The menu gives such unique and healthy selections we all mixed and matched as it was hard to decide on one item per category. The service was perfect! Can't wait... More

Beautiful, quiet restaurant. Great wine. Wonderful service. Accommodated our noisy party of 14 very well. I had the filet mignon preceded by the duck breast salad. Definitely great for a romantic dinner for 2 as well.
