I walked to this restaurant from Creekside Inn. The menu was quite varied, and the staff even made a special dietary adjustment for me when I requested it. Very delicious.

Went with co-workers for lunch, food came in a timely manner and was excellent. Nice salsa bar to choose from. Highly recommend this place.
We really like the enchiladas here and the prices are great, as is the hot sauce. The staff are also friendly. However, my digestive tract did not enjoy the experience quite as much. I thought it was just a fluke, so I went back about a year later, and experienced the sequel to Montezuma's revenge. I've never had this happen...

I took my kids (ages 11, 9 and 5) there. We got 3 tacos ($1.35 each), 1 wet green burrito ($7.75) and two vegetarian burritos ($5.75 each). Way too much food. My burrito was quite filling. I usually eat my food and help with the kids. Not thus time. Nine year old finished his tacos, but the 11 and 5...

My favourite Mexican restaurant outside of Mexico. The interior is cheap and nasty but the food is superb and a bargain. A must visit 9/10
Great food with a "locals" flair. While you order and sit at long tables with an open kitchen, the resulting food will please. Will certainly return.
Authentic Mexican, "hole-in-the wall" kind of comfort food. The outside is a pink adobe style building with large black letters, inside has a huge picture menu, a cooler with cokes & Jarritos in ice. I LOVE the overall ambiance! It's all about the food! Which is what it should be :) Perfect place to come after work to relax &...

Listen, this is just a little cafeteria/cantina on El Camino Real. For what it is, it's terrific. The tacos are good, service fast and helpful; I love this sort of place. Overall, you can do better at the right taco truck in Southern California, but given where it is, it's as good as it gets.
"El Grullense." Spanish for "no regrets."
I've eaten an entire one of their massive veggie burritos. How could I not? The soft whole wheat tortilla, the whole black beans, the cheese and sour cream and tomato... Spritzed with lime and the salsa verde from the salsa bar, or the hot chipotle salsa if you prefer... This is the kind of...

When El Grullense and J&G merged they took the two best places for Mexican Food and made one great place. I have not found anything on their menu I don't like. So difficult to pick from their large menu but often head back to the very tender tongue tacos. There are so many good places to eat in Palo Alto,...
