We had not been to Evvia since we moved from the Bay Area over ten years ago, so we made reservations weeks ahead. Good thing, too - even then we had to take an early slot, but it was worth it. There's an extensive wine list, a varied menu (a little too much lamb for me, but that's to be... More

We selected Evvia as a place to eat for a celebratory meal. I made the reservation about 3-4 weeks prior to this night. We were eating around 8:45PM on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was packed. The decibel level was pretty loud with conversations by patrons. We were readily seated. Had a nice table for 4. We were brought delicious... More

You will enjoy a meal at Evvia. It is truly oneof my favorite restaurants in the world. If you do not have reservations, you can often sit at the bar where you will enjoy talking with other patrons and the bartender. The place is also wonderful for lunch and is always packed. I recently had a Greek Salad for lunch... More

Evvia is one of the best restaurants in Palo Alto. It is one of the best long running restaurants in the area. The Greek cuisine in authentic and very good. The octopus is spectacular, the fresh fish on the grill is always something to grab. The service is very good and the atmosphere is bustling, yet pleasant. The only draw... More

The wife and I were introduced to Evvia in Palo Alto for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The service is excellent, atmosphere old world and charming and food is fantastic! We started with a bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay and octopus appetizer, which was the most tender I've ever eaten. My wife ordered the ribeye steak, cooked... More

I have been commuting to Palo Alto for over 30 years for dental appointments. We always have lunch afterwards. Evvia was the choice by my retired dentist and his wife. It was great. I really enjoyed the dessert, galaktoboureko phyllo with custard and pistachio ice cream! Wow! For the entrée and starter....the flatbread was great with olives, tomatoes, onions...the moussaka... Heard good things from the wifey so on my business trip stopped in for Dinner and loved the decor, upscale modern with a splash of old world but no crummy greek decor to be seen. This is the place to take a gal and let me tell you, noticed a few younger gals on the arms of well to do... More

Went there in a group with Office people for lunch. They had amazing customer service and the food was very good. The ambiance is perfect. Wouldn't recommend it for little kids. The atmosphere during lunch time was more formal business crowd.
