This place is cute and right next to Desert Isle- where we stayed. It's convenience to our hotel is a plus. However, food is just half a grade above Denny's. Just presented nicer. We ordered their standard french toast and eggs, over easy. Was sufficient. Their coffee is average and their latte tasted like the "automated, push button, gas station... More

The first time I ate at Manhattan in the desert was for breakfast. Everything was very good except for the home fried potatoes and hashed brown potatoes. I ordered the hash browns and my brother ordered the home fries. Having good breakfast potatoes is a very important part of the breakfast experience. If they would change those items my brother... They now have their Summer Specials reduced menu. You have to ask for it but it's 1/2 the price of the regular menu. I had the Cabbage soup - to die for if you like CS. But I followed it with the Brisket of Beef which while good was not a strong enough flavor - the meatloaf would have been... More

Cheerful, with excellent service and fabulous food. Loved my French toast, and friends were happy with lox scramble and hash browns. Cheesecake tastes like the real deal. I will definitely be back to check out the pastrami.

Went for the summer special dinner for $10.99. Asked the waiter about it and he provided a separate menu which was not presented with full menu that was presented when seated. Approximately 8 dishes to choose from including brisket, turkey, and what we ordered -the fish and chips. A dish arrived with four large pieces of fried fish accompanied by... More

Drawn to this place by their TV commercials quickly realizing they spend more time on the ads then the food. With all the wonderful fine dining in the Valley do not waste your time here. The Staff is friendly and accommodating although english was not our waiters first language and everything we said and he said had to be repeated.... More

I'm a former New Yorker born and raised. I know good NY delis when I see one. I'm living in Palm Springs for ten years now and I must say that this restaurant is excellent. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The server staff is very pleasant. Ample parking. Much better than Sherman's Deli in downtown Palm... More

Manhattan in the Desert has recently added some exciting "gourmet" items to their breakfast menu which includes "Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes" or "Banana Carmel Pancakes" or, could you ever imagine, "Carrot cake french toast with cream cheese icing?" OMG, it's true! They continue to offer a huge variety of omelets as well as other breakfast specialties plus all the "standards". (Corned... More

Great place. We dined here for breakfast and were delighted with the eggs Benedict and salmon. As we had an international flight to catch from LAX we had limited time. The waiting staff and kitchen were super efficient and friendly especially since the restaurant was super popular.
