Awesome food, service and decor! Best Mexican food ever! I had the Cabo Azulejo and it was to die for. When in Newport Beach, you must try this place!
Since Javier's first opened their Newport Coast branch my wife and I, and our dear friends Teresa & Dennis have made this our GO TO weekend dining spot. Everyone from the valets to Ray,the front of the house manager to all the wait staff and servers in both the bar area and the dining room always treat us like royalty.... More
In the land of "see me" this place apparently is the place for the wanna bees to go. IMO: Too crowded, expensive, noisy, etc. BUT, they do have great (expensive) Mexican food and a very aggressive happy hour pick up bar. Leave it for a more rewarding experience elsewhere.
This is one of my go-to restaurants for drinks and bites with friends. The menu is HUGE, offering so many different mexican dishes. I love the steak salad with champagne vinaigrette. I order it EVERY time that I go to Javier's. The lounge area is where I prefer to sit, although it's first-come, first-serve, which can be challenging on a... More
I really enjoy bringing clients to Javier's because the vibe is right. This time we sat in the entrance, at the patio, and this is perfect for people watching. We usually sit inside & have dinner but this was a nice change. The food is above average overall & the drinks are what you'd expect to pay in Newport. The... More
We had a party of 25. Our table was ready on time. The place was jumping. Very trendy and busy upscale restaurant. Service was very good. Food was very good, very fresh. Nothing really put this place over the top, but was a very good experience. Prices reflected the area...expensive.
Make sure you have a reservation because it is always busy. The food is delicious. Sometimes it gets very loud.
we waited longer then we've expected to be seated but don't worry...you can have many pictures with the trendy decoration...nice location to be seen... excellent food & service...
Excellent service and food. Took the family there and everyone had a great time - shared main course and deserts, all very satisfying.
Whenever I'm in Orange County I have to visit Javier's. Great Margaritas and Queso Fundido. Best people watching on Friday and Saturday nights in the bar!
