This is a fun experience. We were in the dome car, had a very good meal, beautiful scenery. Wouldn't do it again, but glad I did it once!

When in Napa be sure to ride the rails. It is well worth it. We had a great day, great food, excellent service. Pay a little extra for the vista dome car, its a little more personal and quite, (know one walking past you). This memory will last a life time.

We took the lunch train. They offer a wide variety of trips (some include touring one of the vineyards). The train cars are in beautiful condition and well staffed so the passengers feel pampered. Took the Napa Wine Train with my with wife and a cople from the Bay Area. Very relaxing trip and plenty of time to catch up on life. We sat in the Vista Dome car which is the only way to go. The salmon for lunch was moist and tender. O one had a complaint about the meal at all.... More

A three hour ride through the vineyards. Do the observation car and have either lunch or dinner. Food was fabulous and the staff was very informative about the region and the different wineries for tasting.
