It was a Monday, so I drove past the many restaurants on the Embarcadero and bay. This was the busiest! They bring a relish tray and fresh bread. The salmon was cooked just right and scalloped potatoes were good also. Definitely a place to return to.

My husband and I are pleasant enough people. It takes a LOT of indifference for us to ruffle our feathers. Indifferent is exactly the word I would use to describe our server. I ordered one beer. I was NEVER offered another. My husband had to practically beg for more coffee. We felt like we were as parched as lost Bedouins... More

Tognazzini's has three Dockside restaurants on the waterfront. We ate at the Dockside 2. Outdoor seating, live music and great fish tacos. The place was packed so be prepared to stand in line however it is worth it. Reasonably priced. After eating you can stroll the Morro Bay Embarcadero and wander through all of the shops. It will take you... More

Great atmosphere and a great welcome, including from the boss, made our visit even more enjoyable than the excellent seafood and service. Booked earlier that same day, so we could reserve a window with a view. If in Morro Bay area...and like fish/seafood...this is THE place to go.

Very low key outside seating by the docks watching the fishermen at work. Fish was extremely fresh and well prepared. The place was packed with both tourists and locals which is clearly a great sign. Good selection of both beers and wines to give you a charming way to while away the afternoon and early evening

Chef has a way with soups: the bisques--shrimp or salmon, we've tried both--are exquisite. Fish is cooked just right, and portions are very generous. Avoid the albacore salad--not their best dish. A bit pricey for such a casual place without a view

We went here for dinner upon Trip Advisor reviews as well as a recommendation from our hotel. We went on a Friday evening and did not make reservations, so we had about a 30 - 45 minute wait. But, the wait was worth it. The food is fresh and once we were seated, the service was excellent. If going, we... More

Tognazzini's at the Embarcadero is one of our favorite spots in Morro Bay. The restaurant has great seafood and service with the chowders, bisque and Mexican Shrimp cocktail being favorites. We usually have lunch and then got to Dockside Too behind the restaurant to get the latest in fresh fish. The frozen at sea Ahi is a good value and... More

While a little out of the main area, this restaurant is worth the ride. It located directly on the wharf where fish is brought in from the fishing boats, with views over the dockside. The same staff as we encountered a year ago, which these days says something! Food was excellent, particularly the fish, always fresh. Halibut piccata was $23.95... More

If you can give up the view of the Rock, you won't be disappointed with the charm of the outdoor back patio. A local musician entertains the lunch crowd. On a sunny day this is a delightful place to lunch. I like the calamari and fries. Last time we were there is was so crowded we decided to take out... More
