One of the highlights of a visit to Morro Bay has to be breakfast at Sun n Buns. They do an amazing selection of turnovers and pastries and the decaf coffee is pretty good too. Great people and pastries. Always friendly and the pastries are always fresh. They made us a dozed cupcakes for an impromptu birthday party and they were exactly what the my 7 year old birthday girl wanted.

best place in the middle of the Embarcadero for a quick sandwich, pastry, or drink. Good selection of all. Stuff for dogs too! Look for the aqua colored building on the east side of the street.

This place has a great selection of turnovers of various fruit fillings...the blueberry one that I ordered was excellent! Each turnover is around $2.75 each. The place was quite busy when I was there...lots of people eating inside the shop with coffee they had ordered. One item missing from their shelves (unless I got there too late in the morning)...
