Don't expect anything fancy, but you get honest sushi and sashimi. The combo is a good and cheap option if you are not very hungry. Service people look a little confused, but you can count it as part of the atmosphere...

Great sushi place! Friendly yet elegant. Fantastic sushi bar with a beautiful atmophere. Sushi is ordered by piece rather than in a pair which is lovely. Great for families yet is still fancy. I must go to for serious sushi lovers!

We go here all the time with our kids. Most families are sat in the back room, where the kids can be kids and there's no stress of annoying couples. best sushi on the peninsula. try their sister restaurant "Kanpai" which is on Lytton in downtown Palo Alto.

My beef teriyaki tasted like it came out of a microwave......yuck!!!

I like this place. Not great atmosphere. The omikaze is usually what I order.
